COUGAR FENCING
Cougar Fencing is a student led 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of fencing at the University of Houston and throughout the greater Houston area. Our mission is to provide opportunities for both beginners and experienced fencers to learn, practice, and compete in a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment. We offer training in all three weapon disciplines including epee, foil, and saber at no cost. Our club is open to all Houston area college students and we provide all necessary equipment. All are welcome to attend practice by simply walking in!

EN GARDE HOUSTON INITIATIVE
The En Garde Houston Initiative is our flagship program dedicated to expanding the sport of fencing through outreach to local colleges. We provide the mentorship and organizational support necessary for motivated students to start new fencing chapters at their own institutions. By connecting campuses across the city, we are building a unified collegiate fencing community that prioritizes accessibility for all athletes. Our goal is to ensure every student in the Houston area has the opportunity to learn and compete regardless of their financial background.
